Family Reunion

For a Memorial Day family reunion, my wife Jill asked me to find a way to display large numbers of photos — some almost 100 years old — in a compact way. That prompted this shoot, in which I spread out groups of the photos on a colorful backdrop (actually the floor of our garage) and took my own shots.

Also, I grouped several hats belonging to Jill's grandmother together and took photos of them.

It was an interesting artistic challenge, one that proved very successful among the 50 plus attendees at the reunion, held in Boone, N.C.
